You might want to state exactly what it is you are trying to accomplish and exactly what you have done to that end.

Merely stating that "it does not work" is not helpful.

OK apologies. The main thing I'm trying to accomplish is forward pptp pots for my VPN but I also need to forward various ports for p2p and video streaming. Thanks in advance.

I still suspect a problem with your ISP provided router.

First, lets simplify a few things.
1 - If m0n0wall is doing your VPN, you do not need any firewall rules to get into your VPN.  You will need firewall rules to get out on the pptp interface.
2 - Ping is blocked by default.  but if you enable ping, and you enable the port your web interface is on, you can ping and log into m0n0wall from the outside.  No NAT is needed.  This will be a quick test to see if you are on the Internet, or if the ISP router is doing a NAT spoofed IP.

Hi thanks for the reply. I enabled ping and was able to ping my ipv4 address and also my ipv4 gateway which is a different ip address. I then disabled my ping rule and it failed that tells me that the firewall is working ok but im stil lost as to the problem.
sorry i also forgot to mention that i have bridged my wireless interface and my lan2 interface with lan not sure if that is important or not.thanks.
OK so i forwarded port 80 http and tryed to log on to monowall with my phone over 3g with the ipv4 address and it fails but i can logon to it from with ipv4 address from within my network from my laptop hope that is usefull.
not sure if this is usefull but i have a bt openreach modem between internet and my monowall box. like this one.
i believe its a Huawei EchoLife HG612.

The port 80 is key.  Something is blocking it.  However, some idiot ISPs block port 80 for foolish reasons.  Set m0n0wall to run on port 85 (or whatever)  and try again.  Not you will need to use port 85 internally, as well as externally.  If it still fails, you are not really on that IP address.  The BT modem is, and it is proxying for you.  Kinda...  You will need to look more closely at it to get all of your ports forded properly.

Specifying a source port other than "any" in a firewall rule is almost always a mistake.

The ISP modem is filtering it.  You will need to look into that modem, and bridge mode.

You might need to hard reset your ISP modem for it to pick up your "new" system.
