I noticed that monowall's DHCP assigns IP addresses from the last IP address in the DHCP range, then goes backwards.  How can I make it go in ascending order and not descending?  For instance, my DHCP range is 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.150    Monowall would assign the first computer I connect to it 192.168.1.150, then the next computer connected would get 192.168.1.149 , etc.

That's just the way ISC DHCP (which is used in m0n0wall) works. It shouldn't really matter anyway...
