hi,

Monowall is a very nice firewall with all its options. but it  would be great if captive portal is compatible with active directory / LDAP (windows 2003) authentication.

I am working in a windows based network with 2 domain controllers, and i would like to authenticate users with the same username and password as wired network (win XP or 2OO3) with the possibility to choose between domains (mydomain1.com or mydomain2.com for ex).
it would be great if this option can be implemented in captive portal.

you can already do this with radius. Just tell install Internet Authentication Services and tell it to use AD instead of local accounts for radius authentication.
