My m0n0wall is a wrap is causing all sorts of confusion. It was working reasonably okay, but despite no config changes it is now rejecting incoming and outgoing traffic which it is explicitly told to accept.

It is in a NAT setup and forwards port 80 traffic onward to our development web server, but for reasons unexplained rejects some of these packets. It has also taken to blocking some of our outgoing SMTP and HTTP traffic as well.

Please help! I thought m0n0walls were great, this is just getting annoying now.

Was on firmware 1.231, same problems with 1.23

Should I try 1.3?

Maybe there is some sort of conflict with m0n0's web interface which is also on port 80....

Perhaps, though I doubt this. The web interface is only accessible internally and externally, from a number of addresses, the Port 80 forwarding does work as required. but all these blocked messages in the Firewall log fill me with dread.

Please advise.

I also need to be able to allow external private traffic to cross the WAN interface. The tickbox which enabled this on the interface page seems to have no effect any more.

Thanks in advance
