m0n0wall Forum - wifi on LAN and webGUI config

Hello,

I installed rel. 1.3b4 on a VIA mini-itx, the only PCI slot takes an Atheros based 802.11g card.
The problem I am having is that the wired NIC is on the wan and the wifi NIC is supposed
to be on the LAN. With this setup, how would one use the webGUI to config things?

I tried googling and searching the forum, but didn't see any way around this.

I have tried setting the wired NIC on the LAN, wifi NIC on the WAN, then going to the webGUI config, and setup things as if they were reversed (i.e. wifi NIC set as hostap, wired NIC set wi th static IP..etc), then re-assigning the network adapter and rebooting.... but that doesn't seem to work.

Any help would be appreciated.
