Hello,

clarknova, could you please explain your suggestion in a more detailed way.

I think I have similar task.
The topology is as follows: [my network] -> [mono] -> [isp network 1] -> [isp router] -> [isp network 2: PPTP server; DNS server]
When I set up mono's PPTP client the connection is lost to isp segment 2 (all the traffic flows through PPTP tunnel) and to DNS as a result (no route to host message from mono's ping). I'm trying to set up correct routing but without any success. Please help.

vmedvedev From what you describe, you have a different problem and I suspect the mods will be along shortly to split the post.

however, clarknova was saying that whiggy needs to add a rule in to allow traffic from PPTP clients to the internet.  This would go something like.
Action: Pass
Interface: PPTP VPN
Protocol: Any
Source: PPTP Clients
Source port: From Any to Any
Destination: Any
Dest port: From Any to Any

Will allow PPTP VPN clients on to the internet as well as accessing all other networks.  If you need to block them on other networks, put a block rule into the rule sets for the relevant interfaces.

vmedvedev: Do not hijack other people's threads with unrelated issues, and do not post the same thing in multiple threads.
