VIA pc2500 Platform Motherboard is now available with a VIA C7-D @ 1.5 Ghz for $59.99 plus shipping.
The CPU runs 2w at idle and up to 20w, nice and efficient.
Definitely worth a look, I planning and get at least one to tryout.

Sure is! I just ordered 2.
One for Monowall and another for a server.

Where did you order them from? ClubIT doesn't ship internationally and I'd love to get my hands on one / several of these in Germany.

I am in US. I am not sure where you can get internationally.

Still pricey for you guys.
I have not received my motherboards yet.
Shipped with Fedex Ground which is really slow.
I'll get the Monday, I hope.
Planning to run Monowall on one and Freenas on the other.
Will let you know how everything goes.
