Firewall/NAT

Hello.
I'm approaching just now (from about six months) monowall, and I set my boxes exactly I wish.
I can surf the web, send and receive mails, use skype and all other sw requiring any internet connection like Transmission, Cyberduck and so on.
Also windows update (horresco reference) works thru the firewall…
But not Gizmo (a Skype alternative).

I read some tech articles on their web site, follow forums, etc. but until today I cannot use Gizmo to made or receive calls.
I set ports as described in its instructions

but without success.
Of course I done a lot of test for myself, without understand where wrong.
Can anyone having some problems setting up Mono to use Gizmo?
Any help will be very appreciated.

create a deny all at the bottom of your rules and activate log. then check (while trying) the firewall logs to see if you have any deny hits so that you know what traffic on what port(s) is being blocked.

Update.

Even with a Mac directly connected to the router Gizmo doesn't work.
Checked the router but there isn't closed doors: it's fully open.
Next step will be change the router (now AtlantisLand)with a Zyxel.

Running Leopard (OSX 10.5) by chance? I had the same problem after the OSX upgrade. There is now an update for Gizmo that is compatible. After the upgrade, it works for me fine again. Wasn't m0n0wall related for me.

Yep mwiget.
I excluded m0n0 issue when bypassed the firewall box.
The system is OS X 10.5.1, and Gizmo 3.1.2 (v.222).
tomorrow I change the router and try again.
After a succesfully connection without firewall I try connecting again m0n0.
Also I opened a ticket with Gizmo support.

The problem today is not more present.
Gizmo perfom the echo test normally, without any malfunction!
Same configuration, same cpu, router, adsl line.
Exactly as yesterday, but tomorrow works.
I changed nothing…
Can we classify this as case of voodoo programming?:-)
