Hi,
Ive been looking a cheap and easy way to inplement 2 factor authentication into Captive Portal.

I came across something called Perfect Paper Passwords (PPP) by Gibson Research Corporation ( https://www.grc.com/ppp.htm ).

I looked at trying to build this into M0n0 Wall 1.231 but found too many dependencies missing, e.g. hash function, and other PHP functions.

I think it would be really good to get this feature built into Captive Portal because its a cheap and effective authentication method, and reduces the risk of brute force attacks on Captive Portal accounts.

I've put some sample code for tokens in http://svn.m0n0.ch/wall/trunk/notes/securid_radius.txt

With this information and the existing captive portal code (it currently does PAP but can do CHAP too), it can be fairly easily adapted to support 2factor/token authentication.

Kind Regards,

Jonathan De Graeve
