Hello out there,

I have just bought a Alix 2c board and wrote an CF with the generic beta image.
But when I boot, I get this:

PC Engines ALIX.2 v0.98
640 KB Base Memory
130048 KB Extended Memory

01F0 Master 848A MODEL NAME
Phys C/H/S 4062/16/63 Log C/H/S 1015/64/63
Consoles: internal video/keyboard
BIOS drive C: is disk0
BIOS 640kB/130048kB available memory

FreeBSD/i386 bootstrap loader, Revision 1.1
(root@mb62.neon1.net, Sat Dec  9 17:20:01 CET 2006)
/kernel text=0x47f74c data=0x99814+0x32430 syms=[0x4+0x59920+0x4+0x701a7]
 €€€€

And then it halts...!

I have tried several CF cards so that's not the problem.
Is my board just faulty???

Best regards,
Christian

Use the 1.3b5 wrap image (which explicitly supports ALIX) instead of the generic-pc image.

Doh, read the f...... manual!

Sorry for the dumb question, but I knew that the new Soekris board just uses the generic image and therefore I assumed Lips sealed

Thanks for a wonderfull product, it kicks ass!!!

Best regards,
Christian
