Hi,

I am trying out the m0n0wall possibilities using two pc-m0n0wall installations on VM's. My configuration looks like this:

Both PPTP and IPsec VPN-tunnels work perfectly in this test-setup however, I notice the following messages in the m0n0wall-logs:

Dec 15 10:25:38   kernel: arp: 192.168.1.84 is on lnc0 but got reply from 00:1b:63:9b:ee:ea on lnc1
Dec 15 10:25:55   kernel: arp: 192.168.1.254 is on lnc0 but got reply from 00:14:7f:1e:60:26 on lnc1

Anybody who knows what is going wrong?

I think I figured it out. Because I wanted to access the m0n0wall GUI from the WAN I disabled the default feature: "Block private networks". After enabling this feature again, I haven't seen the message anymore, and everything still works. The only thing is I can only access my GUI from the LAN (which is good off-course)

Oops, message is back again, so it hasn't anything to do with the "Block private networks" feature...

Did some further thinking: the picture I includes is a logical schema, basically the three blue network-tubes are physically only one lan/switch. The monowalls are both running on two VM's that are running on 1 physical PC with 1 network-port....
