Hi,

I have just bought an Alix.2c and it's running greate most of the time.
But a problem occures after 3-5 hours where it just freezes.

The serialconsole shows no problems, so I wonder if there is some log files that I can investigate.
It seems like it happens a quite bit quicker if I have startet some torrents?!?
I'm running the newest beta, but I also did that before on a Soekris 4801 without any problems at all.

Hope that some one can give me a hint, course it's really annoying.

Best regards,
Christian

Christian,

Have you tried the 1.3B6-pre images found here:

Please report your results.

Hi Lonnie,

Thanks! I have just upgraded with the 1.3B6-pre images and time will tell.
I can see that it consumes about 3% less memory after boot that 1.3B5, so
that's always neat.

I will return in the morning with a status. :-)

Cheers,
Christian

I have the same problem with the actual 1.3b7, alix2 3-port with captive portal hangs up every about 3-4h.
I wanted to try the 1.3b6 pre-image as listed in http://m0n0.ch/wall/list/showmsg.php?id=334/87
but they are gone. Can I just disable the traffic shaper to solve the problem provisionally ?

thanks
u2
