Hi there!

I've just assembled an embedded system based on the Alix 2 plattform (Alix2c3) by pcengines.ch.

Unfortunately, it is not working yet.

I've installed m0nowall "wrap-1.232.img" on the CF Card. At the serial port I can see it's successfully booting up, I also can enter the IP-Address to be used, but it's not reachable over the network. Cabling is checked twice, should not be the problem.

Another strange behavior is, that the "autodetect port" from the serial console menu is not working, Link up cannot be detected (starting the box unplugged, then when prompted plugging in)...If I try to manually enter the Interface (sis0), I receive the message "invalid interface".

any ideas? Thanks so far, raffman

m0n0wall 1.2x does not support ALIX boards. Try 1.3b7 instead (the WRAP image of it works fine on ALIX.2).

Hi Manuel

Thanks for the hint, that explains a lot;-)

Changed to actual beta and everything works as expected...
