Hih there.

no sign of my compact flash to ide adapter so i loaded an old 2 gig gdive with monowall 1.3bpre10 and got it loaded and working quite quickly.

However the firewall ordering seems to have a few movements up its sleeve whereas the traffic shapping is only move one at a time and move it one place a time. worse than playing chess with a beginner!

is there any tips i cant see to ordering/moving a shaping rule to the top for instance?

thanks.

Minsik.

No, there is no way at all, until Manuel decides to integrate the firewall rules handling possibilities also for the traffic shaper rules.

However, you could backup - download - your configuration, edit it with any text editor manually and restore - upload - the modified configuration, BUT,
this requires a reboot of m0n0wall.
