PPPoE configuration
When PPPoE is down - Auto (re)connect (for example when the ISP has restarted the PPPoE service)

my understanding is this will happen automatically. you just need pppoe username and password.
check version 1.39b pre 10 (link in this forum) where this was fixed after 1.3b9 did have a problem with this.
