I have been trying this for a while and am getting nowhere.
(Soekris net45xx ver 1.232)

I want to specify IPs on the LAN connection which when accessed, will map me to an IP on my WAN address. (I will also be setting inbound NAT from WAN to opt, but this has worked for me before and I have not configured this yet on this box)

My WAN address is 192.168.0.201/24
LAN is setup as 192.2.1.1/24
When I connect to 192.2.1.2, I want to map to a server on WAN address 192.168.0.4

I assumed that I would setup a 1:1 mapping.
WAN - 192.168.0.4/32 - 192.2.1.2

Standard LAN to anywhere firewall rule in place
WAN 192.168.0.201 to 192.2.1.2 is open for *

I have tried with and without the Proxy ARP on WAN for server 192.168.0.4. (I assume it is not needed)
I have tried with and without the proxy ARP on LAN for 192.1.4.4 (I assume I need this)

Advanced outbound NAT is not enabled.
I have a route on 192.168.0.4 to 192.2.1.0 via 192.168.0.201 (just in case address is not being mapped to WAN IP)

Can I do this or have I taken the wrong approach.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I think that you are confused about what 1:1 NAT does.
