I hope this is not a FAQ, but I did not find anything in a search of the archives.

There is a fair bit of discussion on these forums about the ALIX boards - particularly the new ones with the LX500.  What I have not seen, however, is discussion of whether the RNG or AES security block is supported by m0n0wall, or the underlying freebsd kernel.

I have noted that netbsd has a driver (glxsb) for the board, and this driver does not appear to be available in the freebsd tree m0n0wall is built upon.

Is integrating this hardware crypto work that is done, in progress, or otherwise unnecessary? I could potentially help out on this as well.

Thanks,
Gregg

Any news on this one?

Is there a way to include glxsb driver to my 1.3b15 installation?

The glxsb driver has been ported to FreeBSD and will be in the 7.1 release. The author released a patch on the mailing list to compile on FreeBSD 6.x.  I've manually loaded it on a pfSense installation, but haven't had time to do any tests. Search the pfsense forum for glxsb to find links to the code. I'm sure someone knowledgeable could get the module running on m0n0.
