Hi,
Straight to the point...

I am trying to connect with a Cisco VPN dialler into the office, from my LAN,
Windows VPN is fine (PPTP) but IPSEC connections *sometimes* work but mostly it times out when "negotiating security policies" I believe,

straight into the cable modem works every time and with a cheapy netgear router works fine but M0n0wall 1.233  (wrap) mostly fails to connect, in the logs I can see the vpn server getting blocked when trying to talk back to my laptop. Please note that it’s a work laptop and all locked down Sad my other laptop works a treat!

Any ideas or logs can be posted.
Cheers,
Guy

just an update., in the Cisco VPN client, I changed "enable transparent Tunneling from IP sec over TCP to IPsec over UDP and it works fine, I did read on the forums about this but I didn't think I could change any settings but I found I could and its works,

Thanks to everyone anyone M0n0wall is BRILL!
Cheers!
