I've just ordered a Wrap. Is the xml config between the PC img and the Wrap the same such that I could just edit the device names for the ethernet cards and import my old config?
Would this be the most failsafe way to migrate?

yes backup your config using the webGUI and on the wrap use the restore option on the wrap webGUI.

Don't forget that you'll need to change the interface names to sis0, sis1, etc. in the config file before uploading!
