i have recently installed m0n0wall on my neoware. i followed this guide
http://www.monkeysushi.net/writing/other/HOWTO%20Neoware%20m0n0wall.html

everything went according. but on boot i found "FATAL ERROR
The device that contains the configuration file (config.xml) could not be
found. m0n0wall cannot continue booting."

i read up on the forum for a solution regarding CHS in the bios.

Unfortunately, the neoware BIOS doesnt have CHS. it only has the following
Normal, LBA, Large and Auto for the hard drive. None of the options work.

the hd is a 40 pin ide flash module that directly plugs in the ide. i have tried putting it into my desktop pc and reflashing it. but it does pick up for some strange reason. i have also tried using a ide to usb adaptor and picking up as a removable drive but i get hardware error.

i have tried looking at reflashing the bios of the neoware with linuxbios. but not too sure if it supports the neoware

if anyone knows a solution where i can reflash the card using the neoware box. because its the only box thats reading the card atm.

regards

Does your DOM use an external power cable?

See this post I just made http://forum.m0n0.ch/index.php/topic,2054.0.html

Also, try 1.3b9. 1.3b10 did the same thing on my hardware. 1.233 worked ok. I then tried various version and found was the latest release that would boot was 1.3b9.
