Has anyone had an experience on a new install (my first) having the system just keep restarting the boot process over an over?

I'm trying this on a HP using a 600mhz Celeron. I have a 1gb CF card going through a PCI to CF adapter, and it seem to be working ok. I checked the CF card on another computer by plugging it in, the rebooting it. It actually started to boot into monowall ok. I've disabled as much as I dare in the BIOS, and removed the hard drive so the only other drive is the CD Rom.

I don't know what else too report other than it runs through the memory checks, starts to boot into the kernel, then it flashes a message so fast you can't read it. After that it reboot. I got it once to stop long enough to read the message: "Too many  holes in the physical address space" then something about giving up...

How much memory does this PC have?  128 MB is my minimum.
Have you updated the BIOS?
Have you tried resetting the BIOS to factory defaults? (use the jumper if possible)
What type of NICs are you using?  Intel Pro 100 are recommended and available on ebay.
Anyting other than NICs in any of the PCI slots?
No need for the CD-ROM so I would disconnect it.
If it has a memory card reader I would also disconnect that.
If all that fails, It's time to try anoter PC.  m0n0wall will work on most but not all PC hardware

I think it was the new 256MB memory card I got. I replaced it with the original 64MB one it had and monowall starts just fine. I know I got the right RAM, so I'm going to have to do some testing.
As for your other concerns, I'm using 4 Intel NIC's with nothing else in the PCI slots. I am going to disconnect the CD ROM.
I'm kind of disappointed that I can't use my new RAM.
