Hello,

I'm running m0n0wall 1.21

I setup a rule in both NAT and firewall section to allow port 80 to be forwarded to my internal ip 192.168.0.5

I have few other rules in NAT and firewall sections that work fine, so i'm pretty sure i know what i'm doing.

I have an internal web server sitting on that IP address and i'm unable to connect to from outside.

here is what the rule looks like on firewall side:

TCP  *  *  192.168.0.5  80 (HTTP)  NAT

here is what my NAT rule looks like:

WAN  TCP  80 (HTTP)  192.168.0.5  80 (HTTP)

Any help is appreciated.

sounds like your ISP is blocking port 80.  to test that theory, change your NAT and WAN Rule port from 80 to 8080 and try connecting to www.your-domain.com:8080 and see if that works.  You might also want to call your ISP and ask them if the are blocking any ports.

FWI: time to update your m0n0wall version.   Smiley  would recommend 1.3b11 unless you are running some really old hardware or don't have 128 MB or more memory.

thanks for reply.  My ISP has port 80 opened as i made a change and actually confirmed it with my ISP.

I'm running my m0n0wall on nokia ip 120 so i'm a bit hesitant to upgrade, its working and i don't want to touch it Smiley

i'll try upgrade later tonight.  just to make sure, my rules that i have setup are correct?

thanks

Alex
