New Install Problems

I just purchased a Sokris 4501 box and installed the M0n0wall software on a flash card. I can't seem to access the GUI however. My router shows an address connected when I have it connected of 192.168.1.24 and I also tried the default 192.168.1.1 but nothing happens either way. I don't have a null-modem cable to try the serial interface yet. Any ideas how I can get this going?
Oh,.. I did check the cables. I have my modem/router coming into the WAN and I've tried accessing via both LAN ports.

Have you set up the interface assignments from the console screen?

No, as stated in my original post, I don't have the required null modem cable to access the serial interface yet.
