Captive Portal

I had this problem last year when i tried a 1.3 beta,    the user would enter their password,  and monowall's Captive Portal page would just sit there chugging along for a good 10-15 seconds before authenticating them,    i downgraded back to 1.231 and the auth's went right thought no problem,   I've since upgraded to 1.233,  and i am having the delay problem again,  only this time, downgrading back to 1.231 did not solve the problem.

Our radius logs show that the Radius server is authenticating users in about 1 second.   anyone have an idea what Mono is doing for the rest of the time?

As an addendum,    It actually authenticates fine,  as soon as i click the button,   it gets authenticated within a second or so,  i can drop to a terminal window and ping out, etc.   but the web interface takes forever to re-direct.
