Hi,

Sorry I'm a m0no n00bie, but pretty familiar with Freebsd firewalls etc.  Today I added a few rules  none seemed to work.  So I plugged my laptop in started a ping thru the m0n0 box(soekris 45xx).  Added a rule, moved it to the top and applied, to the fw denying anything from the IP on my lappy and it continued to ping.  A reboot killed the ping once it was back up.  Turned the rule off, applied it and it let my ping back thru.  Turned the same rule back on, applied and it still let the ping thru.  Reboot killed it once again.  Is it possible to add rules and get them to work without a reboot?  I don't remember which version, but it was the current download from the main site yesterday Smiley

Thanks,
Dave
