I am having problems setting up monowall.  I have an alix2c0 board that has two nics.

I am using the wrap image v1.233.

I am having a couple problems:

* DHCP does not seem to be working.

* I am unable to access the web interface using the default LAN IP address (192.168.1.1)

* I attempted to connect using hyperterminal and was able to view the boot up sequence, but am unable to type in an option number once I get to the menu.  Perhaps I am using a cable that is not wired properly?

I have seen multiple postings where people are encouraged to upgrade to one of the beta images.  Should I do this as well?

I have attached the output from the boot process as a text file.

* output.txt (3.31 KB - downloaded 175 times.)

The 1.2x images don't work on ALIX boards; please use 1.3b11 instead. I've added a note about this to the download page so people won't have to ask about this in the future.

That did the trick.  Everything is working now.

Thanks!

It appears my problem has resurfaced with the same symptoms.  This time it occurs using both the 1.3b11 and 1.3b13 images.

I am not sure what has changed.  Everything was working fine.  For awhile the board sat powered down in a closet and when I went to use it again it does not work.

Very strange...

UPDATE: Switched to a different computer and now able to enter menu options.  Is now configured and working like a champ.
