Subject says it all.

Nice option to pick the captive portal redirection port would help those poor Vista users that use Internet Exploder 7 with it's built in "block any port except 80" feature.  Cry

Can you elaborate on this problem? I know about people using M0n0wall with Vista without having a problem.

m0n0wall redirects to port 8000 or 8001 for HTTPS and vista would block it because it wasn't a "standard" port. That has since been fixed in a Vista update long ago, but it would still be nice to have the feature I believe.  Grin

I thought I would bump this as I see more and more problems where the higher port numbers seem to get zapped by IE8 / Firewall software.
