Hi, I have ADSL from a swiss DSL provider. There is a dynamic IPv4 address configured over PPPoE and he kindly gave me a whole /48 IPv6 subnet statically routed.

This morning, as soon I received the glorious news from the 13b12 release, I tried to configure static IPv6, but with no success.

The ISP gave me only the IPv6 Subnet address and the instruction that I should configure my WAN interface with one of the addresses from my subnet and point the default route to the WAN interface.

At the moment I am connected with 6to4 but since I have a whole subnet for myself it would be very nice I could configure it.

Any suggestions or sample instructions?

Regards

As stated in the release announcement of 1.3b12, IPv6 over PPPoE/PPTP is not supported yet (except with 6to4). With any luck, this will be added in the next release.

Thanks to the fast work of Manuel Kasper, dualstack IPv4/IPv6 ADSL works now for me.

He provided me last night with a m0n0wall Testimage that worked, at least with the swiss ISP interway communications gmbh (www.interway.ch). He told me that his work will be in 1.3b13 release.

So stay tuned.
