guys..i need your inputs here as i am totally confused im using PPPoE connected to a speedtouch modem (globelines isp here in the phils) and im setting up a basic firewall for my LAN..do i have to enable my router/modem into bridge mode and let m0n0wall control the connection? what if i will  leave the routing stuff to my modem and let the m0n0 act as purely a firewall what configuration do i need to do on the WAN interface GUI?

my internet diagram :

internet -> modem (10.0.0.138) -> m0nobox ( LAN : 192.168.1.254 configure my WAN to use static IP and use WAN : 10.0.0.1/22 Gateway : 10.0.0.138)...is this setup correct and il point my clients to 192.168.1.254 as the gateway?

thanks for the inputs guys.

Is there any reason why you don't want your modem in bridged mode?

My modem is bridged and it makes it much easier to configure IMO, I only have one device to configure.
