Hi All

I have been experiencing problems with DNS Domain overrides with version 1.234. I Reverted back to version 1.233 and restored old config and the problem was fixed.

Anybody else experiencing this problem.....?

Thx

No update to Dnsmasq so far; looks like someone will have to investigate and maybe file a bug report with its author. 1.3b14 will most likely be affected by the same issue.

Problem identified: something odd about long getopt in FreeBSD 4.x. 1.3b14 is not affected.

An update (1.235) will be released shortly that corrects this (simply by using -S instead of --server).

Thx Manuel

Good to know its a bug, added hosts entries seem to be working, but not the *.domain override.

Thanks once again for the feedback, will wait for 1.235

Regards,

The fix is already in the repository, and I've only been waiting for other bug reports concerning 1.234, as it seemed a bit excessive to create a new release just for this fix. There haven't been any other verifiable reports so far, so I guess it's time to release 1.235 anyway...

I definitely understand the reason for waiting. It seems that at least a couple of us are dealing with this issue, so if you feel that it wouldn't be too much trouble, it'd be a great help if you could release the fixed version.

Thanks Manuel.
