Hi all,

has anyone else tried this-

i already have a PPTP end point at work and i would like the WAN on my m0n0wall box to use PPTP to connect to the IP address at work and use my PPTP login and password to authenticate me and let me ping and look at my network....

now m0n0wall has a build in PPTP server but can it allow me to connect to work on the WAN PPTP ?

i have tired this and i need a little help.

when i do try it, i can the following appear in the logs ..

Using the PPTP client on the WAN interface to connect to a remote m0n0wal's PPTP VPN server is not possible, as there is no way to enter the route to the VPN server, which would be needed in this case. The WAN PPTP client wasn't made for this purpose.

If you're in control over the remote endpoint, you could try using IPsec instead.
