Hi all,

and thanks to all developers you are doing a great job! Smiley I switched from fli4l to m0n0wall (1.3b14 GenericPC + Floppy) and I am very impressed so far. When I migrated my settings, keys, certificates and so on I noticed that the WPA2-PSK key is saved in plain format in the conf.xml. This itself is not a problem, the problem is that you can't use e.g. >, <, " and other special characters in the WPA2-PSK key. So my feature request is simple, please save keys etc. as e.g. Base64 encoded strings, so that key complexity is not reduced in m0n0wall!

Thanks!

Have you actually tried entering a WPA passphrase containing '<'/'>' via the webGUI? These characters should automatically get escaped (</>) when they are written to the config.xml.
