PPTP & RADIUS over IPSEC Tunnel

I have 2 M0n0walls (M1 & M2), and an IPSEC tunnel between them. On the LAN of M1 is a RADIUS server, and M1 PPTP server is setup to authenticate to it. Works like a charm. I configured M2 to use the same RADIUS sever, but it does not work. When I sniff on the RADIUS server, no RADIUS traffic ever gets there from M2. I can ping the RADIUS server from M2, but the TRACEROUTE is a bit weird.
Any help on this? Can I back-end through the tunnel to the RADIUS server. All conenctivity from the LANs on each side of the tunnel work like a charm.
Any thoughts?
Phil
