First time mono user.

Using beta 1.3b14 I think, because it has the updated core I need for my nics.

Everything installed fine, ran fine, set all configuration settings I knew and I got to the point where it was setup as below:

ISP Modem->MonoWall->Switch->Lan

2 NICS, monowall was setup and able to work with dhcp and give networked computers ips and they could see mono. The problem I had was I could not get anything from WAN so I could get internet.

The System Interface page always said the cable was up (and said carrier down when it was unhooked) it detects that its a 100 full-dup line and everything looks right except when it goes to pull a ip it always returns 0 and a subnet mask of 255.0.0.0

Everything is running fine and lovely and since this is my first time I have no idea what info I need to provide to help you guys, but all I know is I cant get a WAN ip. Any suggestions?

Also, the cable 100% works, the isp works on just a isp->router->computers and pulls fine

you might try adding a hostname on the "interfaces_wan.php" page.  a few ISP require that.
