First, thank you for making and constantly upgrading m0n0wall! 

Is it possible to incorporate a standard LCD panel (HD44780 or Crystalfontz 634) on a serial-port on the pc running m0n0wall?

The info I'd like is the total up/download speed, just to know if my internet line is maxed out or not.

(and of course a little eye-candy from the m0n0wall)

I'm thinking of a 2x16 or 4x20 line display.
