With Captive portal on, web browsing with ipv4 is fine,  Embarrassed ipv6 web browsing with ipv6 no working

Yes, I have experienced the same problem.

IPv6 autoconfiguration does not work when Captive Portal in activated on the LAN interface.

I guess no IPv6 packets can pass through.

I would considere this as an important BUG.

Captive portal uses ipfw and all it's current ruleset is ipv4 or layer2

It's not a bug as ipv6 support hasn't been added to captive portal :-)

I don't want to use Captive Portal to block IPv6 users.  If Captive Portal only works with IPv4, I am fine with that, but if when you enable Captive Portal to block IPv4 users, the resulting outcome is that you loose IPv6 connectivity, I believe it is a bug.

Applications that do not support IPv6 should not block IPv6 traffic, IMHO.
