Hi, i have been searching in the forum and didnt find anyone with a simular problem.
so i give my best shoot to tell you what i need help with.
heres the problem, Im running a Webserver at my LAN, the web server is public and people connects to it through a Domain
and myself i have to type in the LAN IP adress to the server to access it.
What im trying to do is when i connect my External IP adress i want it to forward me to the LAN IP of the webserver.
as you probebly allready knows is that if you type in your external IP adress you automaticly gets to the router but i want it instead to forward me to the webserver. summary, i also would like to type in my domain name and get to the webserver without having to type in the local IP adress.
Any Suggestions?

At the bottom of the page for Firewall: NAT: Inbound is the following:
"Note:
It is not possible to access NATed services using the WAN IP address from within LAN (or an optional network)."
This includes host/domain names that resolve to to the WAN IP. That's what happening and that's why it can't and won't work.
A commonly used work-around is to put the domain name in the Services : DNS forwarder and point it to the applicable LAN IP. But in order for this to work, the machine you are trying this from must use m0n0wall as its DNS forwarder. Another option is to put the domain name and LAN IP address in your host file.
