Store Logs on Memory Unit

Hello.
In my opinion it would be a great feature if the M0n0wall would be able to safe its logs directy on a non volatile memory such as hard disc or Compact Flash card on the same machine where M0n0wall is running.
For example in Italy and Germany, when you run a hotspot, law constrains you to log the users connection times. So instead of running a PC as Syslog Server 24/7 you could safe a lot of energy-costs.
What do you think?
Best regards.

If your firewall is compromised and the logs are stored on it as you desire, they can be compromised too and now worthless. At least if they are on another machine serving as a sysloger, that machine would have to be broken into to have the logs become useless.
