Hi all,

I'm planning to install m0n0wall soon.
Since this week I changed ISP and I now have a dynamic IP so I signed up with DynDNS.

Can someone tell me the interval time that m0n0wall updates my IP with DynDNS?
And can it be changed?

Updates only happen whenever the WAN IP Address changes. There isn't a periodic update.

Thanks for your reply!

If I understand you correctly m0n0wall automaticly detects whenever my ISP (wan) IP changes and than sends a signal to DynDNS to change IP?

Hi,

I do not know the interval time of DynDNS refresh, but it work very well.

My ISP change my IP  quit often and I do not have problems.

regards

There's no a second possibility to make a good first impression.

Could the devs look into adding a force refresh after so many days?

I have several deployed monowall boxes on networks with static ip#'s, but have a horrible memory when it comes to those numbers. Sad
