Hi,

I'd like to prioritize ICMPv6 using the traffic shaper.

On the protocol tab of the traffic shaper rule, I can choose Ipv6.

Now my question is :

If I choose Ipv6 there, will this include all the Ipv6 traffic in this rule ? (TCPv6,UDPv6, ICMPv6, which isn't very granular for shaping...)

If anybody knows...

Thanks   Smiley

The traffic shaper doesn't support shaping IPv6 traffic that is routed through m0n0wall at this time. The IPv6 setting that you mention actually matches IPv6-in-IPv4 encapsulated packets (IPv4 protocol number 41), so it most likely won't be useful to you.

In fact I'm using static Sixxs Proto 41 tunnel so It could be usefull but not granular enough as I cannot choose between UDPV6, TCPV6 etc...

Anyway thanks for your reply
