I have been running monowall 1.2 for a while, with dynamic WAN and setting MTU to 1482 via the WAN interface, however I have just upgraded to 1.3b15 and the MTU setting is only available if you select PPPoE in the WAN menu.

I have checked and the MTU setting is still in the XML config, however it does not appear in the MTU box on 1.3b15 and the setting has not been applied.

Is there any reason why MTU should only be for PPPoE in version 1.3, rather than in "general settings" on WAN page, or is it just the latest Beta that has this?

I have gone back to 1.2 and original MTU is there in general settings on WAN page

I am also interested in this topic, I am having troubles and I think it is MTU related, but I can not change the value because it is no longer available.  Please restore it !.

This has been discussed in the past, try searching the forum / mail list archives.

The place to set MTU is on the PC(s) behind the m0n0wall, if you must reduce the value below 1500, the ethernet standard.
