Hi there,

Is it possible to direct pptp traffic right through monowall to another server. Ik have a pc (XP) with public ip which tries to connect to a server (2003 server) with also a public IP. But somehow it is not working.
Does monowall block this traffic by default?

I am using 1.235 .

Thanks,

Roger

no problem. I do it all the time.  does it work without the m0n0wall?  have you added any rules to the m0n0wall?

I am not sure if it works without the monowall, because taking the monowall away would mean unwanted downtime. (the monowall is before 12 servers). There are rules but all connected to ip addresses and nothing regarding to this server.

Thanks,

Roger

you might want to try upgrading to 1.3b15.  I'm not aware of any problems with 1.235 but if your hardware is 400 MHz or better I would give 1.3 a try.  I'm running it on all my firewalls (over 30).
