Hellou again,
after some testing with IPv6 and much trouble with my provider I ran into a strange problem loosing my WAN DHCP Lease every 30 minutes for a second when allowing IPv4 ICMP querys to my WAN address. After the reconnect I have a new IP address terminiating all connections to the internet. After disabling the rule for ICMP the problem is gone. The controll LEDs on the cablemodem stay online all the time. Someone got an idea?
Monwall version used is 1.3b15 on a Soekris net4801 connected to a Scientific Atlanta Cable Modem SA EPC2203 from unitymedia. IPv6 Tunnelbroker is Sixxs in aiccu mode. IPv4 Firewall rules for my WAN are rather simple allowing only portforwarding for my Askozia, OpenVPN Server and remote admin to monowall. IPv6 for WAN only allow ping the router and connect to a VNC Server behind it.
Thanks in advance
