Hi,
just to confirm: Handbook's chapter 5.1 (Firewall rules) seems to be empty both in the single-page and in the normal version...
Needing it desperately.  THOUGHT I've understood the system but then it doesn't work as designed...

Can please someone help?

Maybe it would be better to post your actual m0n0wall problem rather than a request for the docs to be finished 

I don't know, this section is really important as I am having the very same problem.  I have never used a firewall before, but I know a bit about networking(switches and routers).  I have connectivity to all my interfaces; LAN to client computer, DMZ to server and WAN to outside world, but without basic rules documentation I cannot progress any further.  I am not asking for anything advanced just want to be able to access the internet from LAN and DMZ.  I think this would be a big help to a lot of us noobs. 

Have you read Handbook section 13.1?
