Hello!

1.235 works great on my computer, booting from CF and from HDD. But with 1.3b15 (and 7) my computer won't boot from CF, but with the HDD it works great.

When writing data to CF:
Code:
$ gunzip -c generic-pc-1.3b15.img | dd of=/dev/sda bs=16k

gzip: generic-pc-1.3b15.img: decompression OK, trailing garbage ignored
640+0 records in
640+0 records out
10485760 bytes (10 MB) copied, 10.9007 s, 961 kB/s
$ gunzip --version
gzip 1.3.12[...]
$ dd --version
dd (coreutils) 6.10[...]

I have also tried to upgrade to 1.3b7 from 1.235 through the webGUI, same problem here.

When I try to boot, I get "Read error" when BIOS is done. Where could the problem be?

P3 800MHz, 512 MB RAM, 2GB SanDisk Ultra II CF-card in a IDE to CF adapter.

I want 1.3b* for the support of my Gb-NIC (D-Link DGE-530T). I won't use the HDD (high frequency noise + multiple S.M.A.R.T.-failure codes, in my bedroom -> big no no :-p).

Thanks in advance!
