Folks -
I have been using a m0n0wall box for the laptop-toting patrons in the library I work at with great success - it never screws up.
We used to have the wireless access point on our public network without a firewall. This worked great for wireless printing, but I grew nervous about all those foreign machines on my network. Now that we have them firewalled off, they can't print anymore, and our library director wants that function back.
I would like to explore using cups on m0n0wall - I want to have the wireless patrons be able to print to an IPP printer and have the print file intercepted as a PS file so I can control printing. Putting cups on m0n0wall might not be a solution, so if anybody else has any ideas, I am all ears.
Thanks -
