Hello, new user here.  Before I waste anyone’s time with more questions, I first want to make sure what I am trying to do is reasonable.

I am running the following set up at work, and home.  Only difference is home is ADSL and work is cable by Comcast:
Modem->Untangle->Cisco 2950 switch->hosts/server

I really like Untangles OPEN VPN and the scanning, but I need to use some of Monowalls features as well.  IPSEC, PPTP, VLANS in particular.

My goal (if possible) is to use both OS’s and utilize the best from both.  Scan email, AV, Spyware, openvpn, ipsec, pptp, and vlans. Can this work?:

Modem->Untangle->Monowall-> Cisco 2950 switch->hosts/server

If this is possible, how do you recommend setting bridge mode/router on each.  The only reason that I put monowall closer to the lan as it appears UT would strip off the vlan tags.

Thanks in advance.
