So i was thinking today, would it be nice to just block someone's mac address from connecting to your m0n0 ? couldn't find it lol so posting it as a request feature

Yes, I too would have use for such a feature; it would be nice to have the ability to filter connection to M0n0wall by MAC - possibly
a nice feature to add in future releases

While this feature is not implemented I work in the following way: I put the DHCP server with the mac for a given static IP after blockade with the IP rules. It has worked well

coz someone could use tools like netc*t to gain access by poisoning client mc address
