1.3 Development

hi! all
 i  have  read  the develop guide book---develop  handbook,but  it  was  relate the 4.11 version. 
 It's  differenct from  4.11 version  to  6.3 version.  so   some  patches  had change.
can  you  tell  me   which  patches   i   should   do  for  the  6.3 version freebsd .
or tell  me   some  develop  guide  handbook.   tks.
