Hi.

I have a problem. I´m trying to set up a rule so that i can ping from WAN to a specific computer in my DMZ.

The rule I have created look like this:

Action: Pass
Interface: WAN
Protocol: ICMP
ICMP Type: Any
Source: Any
Destination: 10.10.10.11 (the internal ip adress)

But it dosen´t work. All my other settings for forwarding HTTP, FTP etc is working but not just ping.

My rule for ping the WAN IP Adress is working.

Any ideas how i get it to work?

Regards, Marcus Grundén

AFAIK, there is no capability in m0n0wall to generate a NAT for the ICMP protocol.

That's only possible if using 1:1 NAT or where you have public IPs directly assigned in the DMZ.
